Today actually been trying out codex on the $100 plan and for the inbuilt image 2 gen available on the cli alone I’m impressed. Having the ai iterate over an image until it’s satisfied is fantastic.
Before would use an MCP in my Claude setup to call open router / Gemini. Works well but native is better as codex knows how to improve its own image prompts
