Being a transparent receiver of treasury funding may sound easy, but it is not as a common practice as it may seem. For this reason, we would like to applaud the @PolkadotAfrica team for their consistent transparency and accountability. Polkadot Africa is one of the few teams that submit continuous monthly or quarterly reports to share clear updates on their work. They did great with ref #1347, providing three detailed reports within just six months. And they have maintained the same level of commitment with their recently approved ref #1693, already submitting a progress report only two months after receiving the funds. We want to thank the Polkadot Africa team and acknowledge their effort. A behavior we hope to see adopted by more proposers in the future. 🟣

Polkadot referendum #1670 is not delivered. -Funds were received on 09.08.2025 and the initial established duration was set to 7 months in total. The proposal has still more than 3 months to go. -Currently only 2 out 7 phases can be considered completed. Pending Tasks⌛ ▫️Backend & Storage Integration ▫️Smart Contracts & Audit ▫️NFT & Monetization ▫️Beta Testing & QA ▫️Launch Readiness -The last commit was during October and the progress seems idle since then. Based on the proposal's breakdown the team should be working on the 4th phase by now. Overall, the public repo shows low activity and that developments are still in an early stage. -It is unclear to us why the team stated that the referendum is completed or their reasoning behind this claim. The proposal is still in progress, with its scheduled duration ending on 09.03.2026. 🟣

Polkadot Referendum #1503 Progress Update 🔗polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1503 🔗app.ogtracker.io/smallSpender/1… -The proposal's duration is surpassed by over 3 months. -During our talks with @Acurast team they informed us about the unexpected difficulties they faced throughout developments which caused delays. -The team confirmed that although a PoC was created, it was never released to production because the integration is not optimal and significantly increases the build size. Due to this architectural limitation, they cannot roll out MinIO support to the general user base. -Addressing this issue would require a full rewrite of their execution engine to support arbitrary executables, work that goes far beyond the scope of the proposal. -They also expressed uncertainty about what can be shared publicly. While the PoC exists, they currently have no deliverables suitable for open release. -The team offered us the option to showcase a demo that could act as a PoW of the proposal's overall progress. However all the communications were ceased and the team stopped responding to our calls. -We understand that this is a complex case but we are looking forward for further team's insights that justify the work being done. -The proposal will be marked accordingly based on their final input. 🟣

Yesterday, Polkadot OpenGov recorded the lowest number of approved proposals in a single spend period - with only one proposal being approved by the community. The recent migration from Relay Chain to Asset Hub has definitely affected this, as we can see some referenda passing but failing to execute. Other reasons that reduced the frequency of approved proposals include: - increase # of bounties - more strict voters - overall sentiment around OpenGov 🟣

Polkadot Referendum #687 Progress Update 🔗polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/687 -The duration of this proposal is surpassed by over 4 months in total. The team experienced significant delays due to regulator's approval and a 2 month extension was granted. -Our communication at first was positive, with them being responsive and trying to provide updates about their progress. We understand the proposal's nature and that certain delays could occur due to third-party involvement. However, we didnt receive any concrete information or something that could prove they are working upon the proposal during this time. -Its been over a month now that the team stopped responding to our calls. A progress report or any solid evidence that justifies their PoW was never provided. -We will wait a few more days in case we get a reply to the matter, otherwise we will mark the proposal accordingly until further notice. 🟣

Polkadot Referendum #1392 Progress Update 🔗 polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1392 ▫️The duration of this proposal expands until the end of the a year with the remaining deliverables been scheduled to take place in December. The process took longer than expected as certain contract agreements were required, which are now successfully concluded. The team was very responsive and provided all the necessary information we requested, explaining their progress in depth. ▫️2/4 Deliverables are completed -Organize the ETHDenver Closing Party ✅ -Organize a live event in New York City ✅ -Organize a live event in Austin ❕ The event in Austin had to be replaced with a new one in NYC due to external push backs outside of team's control. However, efforts are still underway to pull this off which will result in overdelivering the proposal. -Organize a live event in Miami ⌛ The event in Miami is scheduled in December. ▫️The team is clearly remaining focused on the expected tasks and is dedicated to complete them in full. We will keep monitoring the proposal’s progress and maintain contact with the team for future updates. 🟣
