remember when the official Polkadot account was run by passionate community members who understood both the culture and the tech, posting every day with the occasional 1M-view bangers? now the account is outsourced to poopooheads who have no clue what Polkadot or CT are, who leave a compromised Google Sheet hanging for over 10 hours without any urgency, who write AI slop in the same thread about a “daily reduction of issuance by 53%” in both the tweet and the visuals, and who post less often than DOT pumps sometimes I think the best things for Polkadot were only ever made by community members. the rest of the official entities are just good for nothing

Yesterday’s Kusama runtime upgrade delivered two major leaps:
→ Block times slashed from ~6 s to <2 s via Elastic Scaling
→ Revive: a unified smart contract platform running PVM & EVM
Solidity contracts can be deployed unchanged, and devs can use familiar Ethereum tooling.

Ideally, you'd be able to subscribe to "view" as well. I was told that it's "possible", but VERY difficult to achieve.

For apps that only interact nodes RPC and not indexers or other servers, they often subscribe to some storage change to follow the evolution of the chain. But we want to stop leaking the storage architecture and use pallet view instead. Pallet view don't provide any subscription mechanism, my question is that if the events express all the needed state change then storage subscription shouldn't be needed?
