@tagsincos @SelanetAI reading data is solved, but interacting with services is where everything eventually breaks. most agents still depend on a few controlled gateways for that and that’s actually what we’ve been working on at AIsa

curious how ai agents are supposed to use the web without breaking things most setups still rely on centralized endpoints to fetch data which kinda limits what “autonomous” really means came across @selanetai and the idea feels more native a distributed layer where agents can access sites and actually execute tasks not just reading info, but interacting with services directly if this scales, agents might finally operate independently instead of being tied to a few controlled gateways

experimenting with agent frameworks recently and kept running into the same limit they can think, plan, generate… but when it comes to actually using the web everything funnels through controlled access points that kind of breaks the idea of autonomous agents then i saw how @selanetai structures its agent-node network basically giving agents a distributed way to interact with real websites it feels closer to how agents should operate not just reasoning, but actually doing things across the internet

@JulianGoldieSEO One API sounds really nice, but once you start building agents, you still end up needing more than just one API; you still need models, search, data, these tools all working together @AIsaOneHQ handles everything with way less headaches managing everything.

Building AI used to be a nightmare: • Model provider • Search API • Embeddings • Langchain • Custom glue 5 tools. 5 headaches. Perplexity just replaced all of it with ONE API. Game over.

maybe he’s not wrong about the china winning on Earth. If we’re to look at it in the AI sector, most of these Chinese models basically can do Whats GPT and Claude can do (to some extent), they’re open source and not expensive compared to others I personally use Kimi with AIsa… The point is most people will use the Chinese models more on their system (practically they’re wining) I also think I might agree with that Google point too

Elon Musk thinks @Google will win the AI race overall! However, he also sees China winning “on Earth” and SpaceX in space with its upcoming AI satellites.

@stripe We’re building across both Stripe and x402 because we believe agents use whatever rail fits the task we’re already seeing that with AIsa in production; active on x402 while also integrating with traditional payment flows

People keep trying to pick a side between crypto and trad rails, but I bet agents won’t care they will use whatever works for the task A good breakdown here in the article👇

@0xSammy We're mostly focused on payment rails, but the real volume comes from what agents actually spend on; APIs, data, compute... that’s where usage compounds and that’s the layer we’re building at @AIsaOneHQ

> the internet launches in 1991 > Tim Berners-Lee reserves HTTP 402 ‘Payment Required’ as a native payment primitive > no digital cash exists; no settlement layer can handle sub-cent transactions > the web defaults to advertising and credit card checkout flows for 30 years > x402 activates the dormant status code; payment as native to the web as loading an image > Coinbase builds it; Cloudflare co-founds the Foundation > 165M+ transactions processed in 10 months > Stripe goes live on x402 in February today, Stripe and Paradigm launch > Tempo mainnet and MPP; the Machine Payments Protocol > Visa extends MPP to card payments; Lightspark extends it to Bitcoin Lightning > design partners include OpenAI, Anthropic, Mastercard, Shopify, DoorDash, Revolut, Standard Chartered AWS publishes an enterprise integration blog > Google integrates x402 into Agent-to-Agent > two parallel standards are emerging: > TradFi rails for agents inside corporate trust boundaries; MPP, Visa’s Trusted Agent Protocol, Ramp’s Agent Cards > crypto rails for agents transacting across boundaries where no shared authority exists; x402, onchain identity, stablecoin settlement > the retail narrative is approaching its peak; ecosystem maps everywhere, every protocol announcing compatibility > the institutional adoption curve is on a different trajectory entirely; Stripe, Visa, and AWS are not reacting to CT hype, they are shipping production infrastructure > aggregate x402 ecosystem market cap for tokens with genuine protocol connection is under $700M > Visa and Stripe process $14T and $1.9T annually > that is less than 0.05% of the terminal addressable market > you are watching the payment layer the internet was supposed to have from day one, finally being built our report covers the full stack
Khala Research@KhalaResearch

In 1997, HTTP status code 402 was reserved for 'Payment Required'; a native payment layer built into the web itself For almost 30 years, nobody could make it work There was no digital cash and no settlement layer that could handle sub-cent transactions. The web defaulted to advertising and credit card checkout flows instead Stablecoins and Layer 2s changed that. x402 finishes what HTTP 402 started; payment as native to the web as loading an image Most people looking at agentic commerce see one maturity cycle, but there are two: 1) The retail narrative is approaching its peak; CT is buzzing, ecosystem maps are proliferating, every protocol is announcing x402 compatibility. That will correct 2) The institutional adoption curve is on a completely different trajectory. For this layer, the trough already happened in 2025 Stripe, Visa, AWS, Google, Coinbase, Circle and Cloudflare are shipping production infrastructure because their own internal analysis on projected agent transaction volume justify it In our x402 report, we map the protocol architecture, the agentic stack, the institutional landscape, and assess where the value could accrue The full report is in the next post below:

Gemini 3.0 didn’t quite work out and most of us are still stuck with 2.5 Sometimes I don’t get it - what’s preventing Google from ditching all the side hustles and training 100 models from 100 teams in parallel Pick the model/team combination that produces a decent model! That way, they will at least stay in the AI race 😅
