Incorrect. Average SDR attainment is 60% on an average OTE of $85k, meaning the majority of SDRs earn less than this amount. If you can stack 3 SDR Contracts at a conservative hourly rate of $25/h x 120h (3 40h contracts) your earnings equate to $120k. (We have folks making $2-300k/yr) We actively transition folks after stacking 12-18mo into corporate AE roles at companies like Crowdstrike, Samsara, ProCore ect. They outearn the corporate BDR role and get promoted faster externally. Internal promotions avg are sitting at 24-36mo. All while doing it fully remote with 1099 tax advantages like home office, phone, internet and travel

Your last points are fair. But for career - still better to concentrate efforts on 1 role vs stacking a few. My hunch is it's similar effort to get 3 SDR contracts vs 1 full time gig. Can start at a tier C company and work your way to better orgs. Maybe more short term cash, but real $$ is AE. Anyone who successfully stacks 3 sdr contracts could find success as a full time SDR in house with a better career path and earning potential.
