Religious experts write prescriptions and charge money for them, they've nothing to harvest. Selling Nam (Identification with 1) is satanic, devilish & mischievous. Wisdom-Guru urges us to use the mind & its sharpened intellect to decipher what to give, how to give & why to give.

Today in #Sikh History: On this day in 1915, Kartar Singh Sarabha, a 19-year-old Ghadar Revolutionary, was executed by hanging. Kartar Singh's journey began at 16 in 1912 when he traveled to California to attend Berkeley University. While in San Francisco, he was inspired by fellow students to become an anti-colonial revolutionary. The Ghadar Party was established in 1913, bringing together university activists and laborers from the Pacific Coast of North America. Among the various newspapers published by the Ghadar Party, Kartar Singh Sarabha was involved in the Panjabi language newspaper written in Gurmukhi script. He contributed articles and poems and served as an editor. Although the Ghadar Party was founded in the diaspora, its ultimate goal was to incite a rebellion within the British army in India. Ghadar activists viewed the outbreak of World War I as an opportunity to initiate their grand revolt. They planned to commence their uprising on February 12, 1915 but were betrayed, resulting in the arrest of several senior Ghadar Party members, including Kartar Singh Sarabha. These Ghadar leaders faced charges in a series of trials known as the Lahore Conspiracy Cases. Kartar Singh Sarabha refused to label his actions as a conspiracy. Instead, he asserted that what he had attempted was not a conspiracy but an open call to revolt against the colonizers. He remained resolute in court, even when the judge warned him of the consequences of his statements. Kartar Singh replied, "Why should I? If I had more lives than one, it would have been a great honor for me to sacrifice each of them for my country." Kartar Singh was sentenced to death, with the judge considering him the "most dangerous of all rebels." On November 16, he was executed by hanging, all the while singing a protest song he had composed against the British: "Serving one's country is very difficult / It is so easy to talk / Anyone who walked on that path / Must endure millions of calamities." #TodayInHistory #India #Punjab #Panjab #SikhHistory

This essay attempts to answer a few questions related to Guru Nanak Sahib’s birth anniversary from primary and secondary sources, as well as the early traditions and the evolving culture to date. What does Purab mean? How did it get associated with anniversaries? When was the Guru born? Why does that date change every year? How has the celebration evolved? Violence in modern forms, like drone warfare, has become normalized, making it difficult for communities visibly associated with arms—such as Sikhs—to be understood within their cultural and historical context. Harinder Singh (@1Force) addresses the significance of careful language in these discussions, encouraging Sikhs to engage thoughtfully in conversations about tradition and identity. Emphasizing the role of arms in Sikh tradition raises important questions, as the principle of the Saint-Soldier model is often misunderstood. Just as global peacekeeping forces exist to protect, the Sikh tradition of bearing arms is rooted in the pursuit of justice and peace. In recent years, Sikh youth in the diaspora have taken up advocacy, challenging narratives and seeking justice despite fears of backlash. How can they navigate the tension between family commitments, safety, and the drive for community empowerment? Harinder Singh (@1Force) offers insight, urging young people to find strength in the Sikh values of nirbhau (fearlessness) and nirvair (without enmity). By embodying these principles, they can continue their work with courage and compassion, empowered to speak up while honoring their heritage and community. Council couldn't eliminate fears. Chiefs couldn't satisfy. Rulers couldn't do it either. Meeting Beautiful Sovereign was conclusive.1. Now I don't search anywhere else. I offer myself to Earth-Force, Wisdom & Earth-Sovereign. Reflect. #GuruGranthSahib 621 Hukam Sri Amritsar Jiu

Is Inflation trumping everything else because voters feel less wealthy? Voting in high-income nations where the ruling party lost elections recently: US, Australia, UK, Germany, Italy & Japan. America shifts more right: Trump administration, republican Senate and may be House.
