So I feel people just interpret 'hardest' as 'most physically intensive' and on that metric, I guess the Stanley Cup would indeed be the hardest (although I feel the Super bowl would like a word, or UFC etc) My issue is that, to me, 'hardest' shouldn't just be about physicality. Otherwise boxing or other fighting sports would win To me hardest should be broader, including how unlikely it is to win it. For instance I think the Champions League or the World Cup are harder in the sense that it really, really lrequires a lot of things to go right for you to win it. Like let's focus on the world cup, you need to make it into your national team. That means being one of the best 11 players out of millions in your country. Then it's only every 4 years, so you get very few opportunities to win it. Finally, to win it, you need you and your team to peak at the right time to win multiple one game knockout matches where one little incident (one unlucky call for instance) can screw you. Anyway this is a stupid debate as every sport will likely have an argument that its trophy is the hardest. I just find it cringe when the hockey commentator says it because a NFL commentator would say otherwise. It's a stupid dick measuring contest. But it's funny to see so many here reducing 'hardest' to 'hard on your body'
