If you’re shuffling your top 6 hitters every game then you don’t have a stable line up. I can see shuffling and rotating the bottom of the order.

Tiger is such a dickhead. When he lost at Emirates golf club on the 18th hole, (spun a wedge into the water) he went into the men’s locker room and broke at least 20 lockers. This seems very untenable. Causing roster logjam elsewhere, $8M a year the next four years, a degenerative back issue that likely gets worse as he ages, and you play 8 on 9 with your lineup each time he starts.

Assuming $65-75m in arbitration, 3yrs/165-175m is ~$55m/yr. Pirates may have room to shave a little off and still be mighty enticing

@PocsikWill @JonHeyman This is more than fair. Normal progression is 3 years at $800k and then might pull $30m-$50m in 3yrs of arb. He's assuring himself $100m more by locking in 3 extra years. If his market value is ~30m its a wash. Huge risk for pirates, he's set for life even if he turns out a bust
