Is driving an EV in the rain for 30 mins a "Customer Fault"? My barely 4-month-old @VinFastofficial @VinFastIN EV died completely on the highway after its very first exposure to rain. Now they’re refusing my warranty and blaming me. A total nightmare. #VinFast #EVIndia 1/6

@Pkshukla224 @iamankitpande Covid screwed the supply of microchips for car manufacturers. Ukraine war screwed the supply of wiring looms for car manufacturers worldwide, people not buying new cars like before covid, are just a few examples.

@Pkshukla224 @iamankitpande You’re just looking at supply of the end product. For a product like a car for e.g. to be an end product they might have over a 100 supply chains for parts coming from all around India even abroad.Coming to cars specifically, these days manufacturers find it hard to predict sales.

We went to buy a new family car today. Just requested the showroom to deliver it before 17 May because Malmas starts after that. And the salesman literally mocked us for following our traditions. He said: You people are educated yet still believe in these things? Thousands buy cars during Malmas too. Imagine insulting a customer just because he respects his culture. My father stayed calm and said: Being modern does not mean abandoning traditions. But the salesman kept arguing. So we cancelled the booking right there and took our money back. India is becoming so modern that now people feel ashamed of their own culture, festivals and beliefs. Respecting traditions is now called backwardness. This mentality is more dangerous than illiteracy.

After Atul Subhash’s death shook the country, his mother Anju Devi reportedly spent months searching for the one person her son loved the most — his young son Vyom. Before his death in Bengaluru in December 2024, Atul had left behind a detailed suicide note, an 81-minute video, and allegations of years of legal harassment, repeated court appearances, financial pressure, and emotional breakdown. Even after losing her son, Anju Devi reportedly had to approach the Supreme Court through a habeas corpus petition just to locate her own grandson. According to reports and court proceedings, the court was informed that the child was studying at a boarding school in Faridabad, and the petition was later dismissed after observations that the child was not familiar with her. Meanwhile, reports also state that the criminal proceedings in the case have now reportedly been adjourned till November 20, 2026. This case stopped being only about one suicide long ago. For many people, it has become a painful symbol of how emotionally devastating, delayed, and exhausting matrimonial and custody battles can become for men and their families. A mother lost her son. A child lost his father. And a grandmother is still waiting to hold her grandson again. @NikhilSafaya @iamankitpande @ajaykraina Engineers are just banned from touching live systems during the period. Plus, in the Christian dominated west, traditions are similar overall. In India, hindu traditions/beliefs varies from state to state, even individuals. Manufacturers/supply chain can't hoard unlimited stock.

@ShivrattanDhil1 @thevectormind Lack of oxygen really. Dehydration, because water contains oxygen. I drank a lot of water on my high altitude treks, plus did deep breathing exercises everytime I stopped for a rest, and before and after bedtime. Never took diamox.

People in India still don’t understand what acclimatization really means, or how important water and oxygen are, and where we are heading with this careless travel culture. Watching reels and suddenly leaving for extreme high-altitude places is dangerous. I stayed at Umling La for almost two hours despite having medical issues, while many people can’t even stay there for 10 minutes all because I properly acclimatized, started drinking 2–3 litres of water two days before the journey, and understood how the body adapts. The worst cases are people who directly reach 18,000 ft from the plains without giving their body any time to adjust. High altitude is not a joke. Your body needs gradual adaptation, awareness, and experience built over years. But who is guiding people? No one. People just watch reels and leave. Always read about the place you are travelling to the altitude, temperature, oxygen levels, road conditions and always talk to locals before heading into extreme regions! 🙏🏻
Rattan Dhillon@ShivrattanDhil1

For the people travelling to high-altitude regions please understand how dangerous altitude can be. At Shinkula Pass, around 15,000 feet, a family got stranded for hours with a 6-month-old baby who suddenly became unconscious and unresponsive. The family had no idea it was due to the lack of oxygen and the extreme altitude. Thankfully, someone aware of altitude sickness immediately gave oxygen to the child, and within seconds the baby started crying again. A few seconds of help literally saved a life. People travelling uphill must read and learn about altitude sickness. Low oxygen levels and AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) can be dangerous even for healthy adults imagine the risk for a 6-month-old child. Please avoid taking very small children to such extreme altitudes. Before travelling: • Stay properly hydrated • Consult doctors and carry medicines like Diamox if advised • Always carry an oxygen cylinder, no matter how confident you are • Read about the location and ask locals before heading further uphill This time angels came to save the child. But not every story ends the same way🙏🏻
