Recently, ASW Anderson and @USSOCOM SEL Sgt. Maj. Krogman visited @AFSpecOpsCmd at Hurlburt Field, FL. The pair received demos, toured facilities, interacted with #AirCommandos, and received an AC-130J familiarization flight, gaining insight into the #AFSOC mission set.

Last week, DASW Jenkins met with HRH King Abdullah II of Jordan and other national reps in London. The meetings—part of the Aqaba Process—were aimed at strengthening mil & security cooperation, fostering intel sharing, and developing regional strategies to combat terrorism.

DASW(IWCT) Colby Jenkins, with reps from @DeptofWar, @USAfricaCommand, and @StateDept, visited Nigeria Jan 20 – 23, 2026. They met with Nigerian counterparts on counterterrorism, security, and defense matters, helping to address shared interests and advance bilateral relations.

On Jan 30, ASW(SO/LIC) HON Derrick Anderson held his formal swearing-in ceremony hosted by @SecWar at the Pentagon. HON Anderson reaffirmed his oath, thanked family, friends, colleagues, and officials for their support, & thanked @SecWar & @USWPColby for the opportunity to serve.

HON Anderson met with staff, presented awards, and spoke at the graduation ceremony. He also participated in the “capping ceremony" during which @NavyRTC recruits receive their official @USNavy covers and becoming Sailors.

This week, Honorable Derrick Anderson, visited @NavyRTC at Naval Station Great Lakes. The @USNavy’s largest training installation, NSGL is home to the Navy’s only boot camp and to the Naval Special Warfare Preparatory School.
