After 8 years of nonstop training, I’ve officially completed my final chapter: the advanced endoscopy fellowship at UCLA. Immensely grateful to my superb faculty and mentors across every step of my GI training for shaping my skills and preparing me for what’s next. This marks the end of formal training — but for an advanced endoscopist, learning never stops. Next stop: joining UTMB as therapeutic endoscopy faculty. I’m excited to bring my skills and procedures to the team, and to contribute toward growing and enhancing the advanced endoscopy program. Only 1 and 1/2 months into fellowship and I got to do ampullectomy( pics below), liver biopsy, suturing, TIF, Stretta, Pancreatic endotherapy, needle knife fistulotomy and multiple native ERCPs with high quality EUS training. Great mentors. Advanced fellowship @ Geisinger
