Texas pregnancy deaths did NOT suddenly rise 56% because abortion was banned. The statistic they’re throwing around measures year-over-year increases from 2019–2022… and Texas didn’t ban abortion until August 2022. I’ll give you one guess what major event happened between 2019 and 2022 that might’ve impacted pregnancy-related deaths. Hint: it wasn’t the abortion ban.

That no amount of victory paintings or propaganda photo's could erase. Stalin replying to a letter from a officer asking him to come down hard on all the men doing what they were doing to the women and girls and being told that the men fought hard for victory, so let them enjoy the spoils. A fight over a comment about cigarette smoke turned into a shooting inside a Georgia Chick-fil-A. Police say 44-year-old Jamaal Jenkins started arguing with another customer in line, calling him names and even using a racial slur. After the man punched him in the face, Jenkins allegedly pulled out a Glock 42 and fired three shots, hitting the victim in the chest. Investigators say he then chased the victim and tried to keep shooting, but the gun malfunctioned. Police believe the victim may not have survived if the weapon hadn’t jammed. The shooting happened inside a crowded Chick-fil-A in Snellville, Georgia. Jenkins is now facing multiple felony charges and remains in jail without bond.
