This afternoon we took 48 children to the Timperley Track Athletics tournament. A huge well done to everyone who took part, you were all amazing! Big thanks to Sam, Miss Manock and Mr and Mrs Thorns for all their help and to @HughCatholic for organising another brilliant event☀️

We hosted the termly Trafford Forest Schools meet up tonight. It’s always lovely to get together, share stories and ideas, and get inspired 🌿🔥🪵

Hapazome for EYFS this afternoon 🌿🔨

So proud of our after school netball club taking part in their first inter-school tournament last night! Everyone had a great time. Thank you @BroadheathPS1 for joining us and Miss Manock for coaching! 🏀

First we used knives to whittle our sycamore sticks, then we wrapped dough around them, then we cooked the bread over the fire… then we smeared it with chocolate spread 😋 @ACEdoves

Messy fun. The children used clay to replicate Bronze Age artefacts. Check out their beakers and pots, that were inspired by the ones buried with the Amesbury Archer!

We learned more about Kandinsky’s visual language and used it to try to convey two emotions. Ask us to explain the code, and then see if you can tell which of our works of art show anger and which show calm. #AltyCEArt
