@hutchinson It’s a huge reversal driven by hubris. Trump had no credible opposition in early .2025. It was an eerie moment and it felt like dictatorship could actually happen. Now, he’s a toxic lame duck, a liability for GOP & will likely spend the rest of his term fihgint impeachments

Trump barely squeaked out a <2% popular vote. If ~120k votes had went Kamala’s way in MI/WI/PA, he would have lost. After his W, we heard months of rhetoric about Trump’s political dominance and the potential death of the Democratic Party. Fast forward a year, and…🤷🏼‍♂️

MLB let it get this bad. They could have implemented performance standards, they could have rotated umpires out if their calls were continuously bad. All of the data has been captured for a decade. Every fan saw how bad it was. The MLB tried to ignore it, and now they're embarrassing themselves by showing just how bad it is. At this point they've already proven that entire SEASONS could have gone different ways because of how many calls have been overturned in just a week. The first week of the season we have an ump who got close to 10% of his calls wrong. We have some that only got .007% of their calls wrong. There are less than 80 MLB umpires in the league. BENCH the worst ones, allow them to go through training or an eye test, and bring in some new talent and see how they perform. I can't believe I'm sad that Angel Hernandez is not an MLB umpire anymore. I may actually have traveled to a few games to see him get destroyed by a dozen lost challenges a game.

No. The humiliation is long overdue We have watched umpires make themselves the center of attention for years, in many cases for being bad at their jobs and suing MLB. CB Buckner being embarrassed is a small consolation. Too bad Joe West isn’t around anymore. We shouldn’t even know umpire names but here we are.

@lydiabackagain @hutchinson Stalin was not stupid in any sense. He was underestimated most of his life. He was actually brilliant and thought indispensable by all of the communists he would eventually murder. He was a horrible person and mass murderer. But he was very smart, shrewd and relentless.

CNN calling Hasan ‘far left’ is schizo. It’s like when Chris Matthews said Bernie would chop off heads in Central Park. Hasan is actually a highly conciliatory social democrat. I see him as moderate. The entire spectrum is wrong and disingenuous.
