Postlude: arrived in Halifax on schedule. This morning @aircanada sent me a notification about a time change for a flight leaving from Salt Lake City. If you’re in an airport for the next day or two, you may hear them paging Mike Smit, final call, for one of my 20 phantom legs…

I was having a hard time checking in for my flight with United, so I asked the website (which showed the correct itinerary) to email me a copy. Something on the back-end of my ticket broke United, because they have me booked for a 23 leg flight.

@EricaABaker @StrangRobert @giftedtypist I am with you 100%. I feel that we have a duty of care to keep their generation (all of our 0 to 11 year olds) safe. I plan to continue masking for those that do not have a vaccine choice.

Final #SIGCSE2021 BoF today - rebranding "failure" in CS1. How does "iterative failing" make students feel? How can we improve upon it? 90 minutes later, we're no closer to the answer - but we had a lot of fun figuring it out, and are inspired with ideas! (w/ @AngelaWithAnEh)
