April 1945, Buchenwald Concentration Camp, Germany – The Boys Who Refused to Die
When American soldiers liberated Buchenwald on April 11, 1945, they discovered something astonishing in a special barracks called “Children’s Block 66.” Over 900 boys and teenagers — some as young as 6 — had survived through the protection of older prisoners and sheer will. These children came from across Europe: Polish, Hungarian, Czech, and more. Many had lost their entire families.
One famous photo shows young survivors sitting together after liberation — thin but alive, some smiling weakly for the first time in years. These boys had been used for forced labor, medical experiments, or simply kept as “future workers.” In the final weeks, when the Nazis tried to evacuate the camp on death marches, the older prisoners hid the children in the block, risking their own lives.
One survivor from this block was Elie Wiesel (author of Night), who was 16 at liberation. Another was a 4-year-old boy named Josef Schleifstein, who had hidden inside his father’s coat during transport. The Americans were shocked to find children still alive in a camp known for its cruelty.
These boys later rebuilt lives in Israel, America, and Europe. They became doctors, teachers, and fathers — proving that even after the worst evil, life can win.

"Buffer zones" restrict the free and peaceful expression of pro-life advocates.
In Germany and Austria, these laws were found to be discriminatory and overturned, marking a major win for free speech.

Question for @Keir_Starmer Why did he ignore the Mandelson -CCP connection - about which he was warned? Doing so has undermined UK national interests- increased dependency on the CCP regime, risked our resilience, & helped an enemy. This wasn’t about putting the CCP on “ the naughty step” (see today’s Telegraph) @UKParliament had declared a genocide to be underway in Xinjiang against Uyghur Muslims & hundreds of pro democracy activists -including British citizen Jimmy Lai - jailed in Hong Kong. The PM’s defence advisor had declared China to be part of a “deadly quartet.” Yet despite knowing all this - perhaps because of it - prudential judgement was set aside, and warnings ignored, with disastrous consequences.

🚨🇬🇧: A UK Christian Pastor will face TRIAL this week for preaching a gospel message based on John 3.16 near a general hospital.
He is accused of attempting to “influence” people accessing abortion.
He never even mentioned this topic. 🤯
This trial is important. Can Christians really be removed from public spaces not because of what they say or do - but because of what they might think?? 👇

After killing her, Iran’s security forces stormed the morgue, sexually abused, and sent the images to her husband as a weapon of terror.
Today in a deeply disturbing case, Ahmad Khodaei, husband of Salehe Akbari, an Iranian nurse who secretly helped wounded protester during the January uprising, has reportedly attempted suicide following months of pressure, threats, and alleged abuse by Iranian security forces.
Ahmad had sent me all the evidence the psychological torture he endured, and the details of how his wife was shot directly to my Instagram.
Today, I was shocked to learn that he has attempted suicide.
Akbari, a nurse and outdoor enthusiast, was shot dead inside her home during a raid by security agents. Ahmad was beaten, detained for 11 days, and repeatedly threatened to remain silent about what he witnessed.
Khodaei said that after killing his wife, agents later accessed her body in the morgue and committed acts of sexual abuse, sending him images in what appears to be a deliberate attempt to psychologically torture him.
The couple had been helping injured protesters seek medical care, avoiding state-run hospitals out of fear of arrest. Days later, their home was targeted.
Following his release from detention, Ahmad have faced ongoing harassment and intimidation. The sustained psychological pressure have driven him to attempt to take his own life. His current condition remains unclear.
This is what a brutal regime does when it fears its own people.
Salehe and Ahmad were a young couple in love, their lives filled with hope, their days filled with purpose. They were saving the lives the wounded. And for that, she was shot in her home.
He was detained, threatened, and psychologically broken.
The world cannot look away.

Following repeated executions of male opponents of the barbaric Iranian regime, it is now reported that a group of female political prisoners are to be executed by hanging.
They are:
Bita Hemmati
Ghazal Ghalandari
Golnaz Naraghi
Venus Hossein Nejad
Panah Movahedi
Ensieh Nejati
Mahboubeh Shabani
Diana Taher Abadi
The group is reported to include two teenagers.
Their crime?
To speak out and protest against the regime’s atrocities and to demand freedom and democracy.
In a letter to me, Foreign Office Minister @JennyChapman describes the use of executions as “abhorrent.” @UKHouseofLords
Foreign Secretary @YvetteCooperMP should urgently condemn this barbarism at the UN Security Council @sec_council

The Prison Letters of Jimmy Lai.
Sunday Times journalist @domhauschild
has today published deeply moving letters from Jimmy Lai to his children, Claire and Sebastien. Jimmy, a British citizen, remains incarcerated in solitary confinement in the CCP’s Hong Kong Stanley Prison. The Sunday Times reports that he has been denied “medicine for his diabetes, he has dramatically lost weight, his teeth have begun rotting and his fingernails are falling off.” During a meeting with Foreign Secretary
@YvetteCooperMP this week I again referred to his case. Read Jimmy’s prison letters here url.uk.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/po9LCWL3Dijq… #FreeJimmyLai
