Why the hell would we spend billions of dollars to do that when inevitably people that are here illegally will have to leave anyways, there’s not much you can do here without legal status and documentation. Any of them that are committing further crimes will be caught by the police and should be deported immediately. Trying to hunt down every single person that’s overstayed visas would cost so much money that it’s not even worth it. No other country does this either where they create ICE style task forces to find people that overstay visas because it’s stupid.
