This is how the ancient Europeans at the dawn of themselves saw their land. The decaying Roman ruins and ancient runic monuments of their ancestors contrasting with the natural transient wild damp forested landscape. There is only one word to describe that feeling… Primordial

Sometimes we even get the unique vibe of encountering the ruins of traditional civilization amongst the milieu of a permanent transient frontier.

@posta_octavian Personally, I think ameircans reserve every right to be absolute arrogant assholes to tourists because the gulf of how both are treated is absurd. Your people literally think any loud bad acting person is American when they’re often your own. We need to be mean

@posta_octavian No, it’s more like you told yourselves a bunch of stupid shit about us. It was proven wrong, and they’re acting exactly how we predicted they would. Anti American propaganda is way more pervasive than pro. And it isn’t even for the right things; it’s just Democrat MSM slop.

Behind all the arrogance, it turns out Americans are love starved people. They've been seen as the world's villain for too long and are yearning for affection. In Europe, there's a "Freddy" somewhere every day. In America, an Euro loving the USA becomes a superstar.

Ya know, I think my critism of the global south isn’t actually dislike; but rather my scathing hatred of Russia and dislike of places that give Russia a free pass despite being just as cruel as the US.

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan Ya know, thinking about it. I don’t think I do genuinely hate the global south. I just hate Russia and countries that side with it. I think I was blaming the south for what was mostly Russia. That’s my blunder LOL I ain’t perfect

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan Post Cold War you are right, and I think I should’ve elaborated (I’m tired lol). I’m pro Palestine too. Actually the only global south place I genuinely hate is South Asia. I’m pretty pro Latin American (flaws they have) I think a lot of it is internet

@AridoAmSubstack @TheAttleeStan I'm not disputing that, I'm disputing that most of the "self defense" the US does, is only a defense of profit or domination If you can find a source that names Bolshevik leaders that'd be best, must be pointed out 1/2

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan Basically here’s my logic. I support self defensive people and most Soviet aligned plaves were siding with a place conspiring genocide. If there’s any country I do veninelt think we need to inflict evil on, it’s Russia. The rest are fine; I’m just apathetic. Not hateful.

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan It isn’t. At all. But the slew of events leading to it was shit of their own making. Besides Israel. So I view it as two belligerents and nothing more. Iran is honorable and mostly self defensive.

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan I’m mainly thinking about the post WWI period to WWII. Here’s the thing with the U.S. people don’t understand but it’s true. When it defends itself it goes way overboard to absurdity. Think Hiroshima or even the Indian wars.

@AridoAmSubstack @TheAttleeStan The US also backed reactionary sociopaths that killed people for fun, like Boers, Operation Gladio, Operation Condor or Mobutu Sese Seko

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan And they should’ve directed this at Europe. The U.S. backed a lot of the decolonization efforts even after this conspiracy.

@AridoAmSubstack @TheAttleeStan I think it isn't as simple, oppressed people accept aid from anyone willing to give it to them, that's why most liberation movements used Soviet guns, because they were the ones willing to hand them out A lot of the time, it's closer to self defense

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan Plan or San Diego. Mexico was a hotbed of internationalists from Russia and Europe siding with Mexican factions. My opinion isn’t that ameirca has the right to be evil and oppressive. It doesn’t. I just think they brought their own demise.

@AridoAmSubstack @TheAttleeStan That image represents the potential of oppressed people's to rise up, Trotsky speaks of the "Joint Dictatorship of the Proletariat of Oppressed Nations", though again I need to see some evidence of the genocide claims

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan I have to find it, I really really wanted to be in their side; but these people caused La Matanza. The plan of San Diego was them and it was heavily backed by Russian internationalists.

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan It is specifically my moral code that made me realize that most of the global south isn’t to be supported. I don’t even like the term anymore. Should they be invaded and innocents killed? No. But if you instigate shit or side with instigators and can’t take a hit, you issue.

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan ALL of those countries sided with a country that promised to declare genocide on the U.S. it’s the same shit as them siding with Russia against Ukraine. This image was made in 1925; when the U.S. had zero practical influence in any of the three countries.

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan Natives, African Americans, and Latin America are where I’m sympathetic. The rest brought it on themsleves. Especially and mostly including Russia which tried to conspire race wars multiple times.

@PunishedNokia @TheAttleeStan LATAM I’m genuinely sympathetic towards. Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Guatemala. Asia and Africa? No. America didn’t do anything to them and they backstabbed us and plotted for their destruction first. They made British sins Americas fault and hit us first.

You are witnessing the return of an old mostly pre manifest destiny culture. People who have been here for centuries treated as new immigrants; and their neighbors across the wall moving. The white period of the 50s was a temporary interlude of transplants. This is its true form.

The Borderlands is a remarkably old society; one that’s started to be built in its inevitable direction again. Older than New England, a direct legacy of the conquistadors and the most stubborn medievalist natives. People 100-80 years ago saw it no other way.

No. That’s not what happened. That society existed fighting for its life in rural areas consisting mostly Hispanics and natives during the period you describe as “White.” People from Mexico had been crossing in droves since Pancho Villa too.

If you’re under 30 it’s hard to imagine how not-Mexican this country used to be. Indian immigration has people freaked out because of how they suddenly seem everywhere, but Mexicans quietly got away with colonization by playing the long game, while the establishment embraced the cheap labor & votes. Repeal the 14th. Happy 250th
