@nobler_savage @QuetzalPhoenix You actually see this in their names, some Hopis have “Tewa” at the end of their names indicating they’re formerly tewa another Pueblo group. But after the Pueblo revolt ended, the empire taught the Pueblos proper cavalry warfare.

@nobler_savage @QuetzalPhoenix Hopi was never under any formal control of Spain. They were the Pueblo that was insular, conservative, and despised integration. The other Pueblos were more open to Spanish influence, conflicts there were. Most of the people from those open Pueblos immigrated to Hopi.

Most of the world absolutely loves American slop…on a 10-20 year delay. During the 2000s stuff of this form was considered American consumerist slop. Also this revival of zeitgeists whilst being incapable of making their own is a sign of late modernity.
