@Nolco_Ibki HAHAHA great to hear, I'd like to make more of those pikmin pictures again soon, it was a lot of fun

@KaiInJapan3D I actually just modeled the entire thing from a block in blender, I did it all in blender ✌️
English

@ArodoraaLP @yuronkdev I’m a 3D modeling student. I was wondering if you sculpted your model first on ZBrush or did everything in Maya.
English

@MistaBrandoVA Thank you!! There will be much more of her and others soon 😌

@yuronkdev Thank you!!
I'm brand new to modeling, so I don't even know if this is the best way to do it, but It's just flat planes with transparent textures haha
English

@ArodoraaLP ahhh this is so cool!!! how did you get the low poly cloth to work? it's a nightmare every time i try setting it up
English

@DogzeRoze I'm using gdscript, it took a couple weeks before I started to -kind of- understand how coding works, I'm still brand new though so it's scary and confusing
But that's what I did, watched tutorials for things that I wanted to set up, and I just started understanding more and more
English

@ArodoraaLP Was Gd script okay to get into or did you end up doing C#?
Thank you so so much for your response, I'll take another look at GDquest, three staff does seem informative
May I ask after how long of following along did it take to "stick" or be able to learn it, thank you again :D

@Itsmambaboi I probably would have improved a lot faster if I had focused on learning the fundamentals which is an extremely boring answer lol
But what I did at the start was just mess around sloppily in SFM and watch animated films trying to understand the motions and consider the keyframes
English

@ArodoraaLP I see well is there any starter tips you could possibly point out - like anything you wish you knew when you first started?
English

@Itsmambaboi Thank you! I use blender to animate my characters, I've been animating for over 10 years now though, so that's definitely a huge part of the ability to animate fluidly unfortunately 😔
English

@ArodoraaLP where/how do you make your animations I see alot of indie devs with fuild bouncy animations like this and i just cant for the life of me find out where to actually learn this myself this looks so nice
English

@DogzeRoze It took me around 3 weeks of pain and suffering and rage, but I can make systems in my own without tutorials decently enough now
It's just getting through that initial horribly difficult start that sucks the most, but if you can push through it, you can do whatever you want lol
English

@DogzeRoze Thank you!! Honestly, I'm brand new to godot and gamedev and coding in general too lol, and I'll tell you exactly what I did
I watched the tutorial on how to make a 3d character controller from gdquest, and focused on trying to understand how and why code did what it did.
English

@ArodoraaLP @erce_subasi Ardy! I remember watching your videos, especially the one about Dark Sould competiton. I miss you. Hope your life have been treating you well.
English

Still dinkin' around with animations, slowly updating them, trying to get a feel for what I want.

@soulsilverart Obsidian Fieldlands stopped me in my tracks when I heard it, absolutely phenomenal track.
English

Mostly have the character controller set up now (All animations are heavily WIP placeholders)
It'll be fun to tweak over time as the project progresses!
