Our Pwllheli community champion Jo was delighted to hand over an Asda Foundation grant of £1,000 to the wonderful team at Tafarn yr Heliwr Cyf. Jo says: "They couldn't thank us enough."

Our Scunthorpe store's community champion Maggie was happy to present a £1,000 cheque to the team at Scunthorpe Cats Protection after they won our recent green token giving vote.

Here's Sharon, our Dewsbury store's community champion, handing over an Asda Foundation cheque for £1,000 to Kirkwood Hospice who won our recent green token giving scheme. Sharon says the money will be used by the hospice's palliative care team to care for people at home.

Here's Stephanie our Kilkeel store's community champion presenting an Asda Foundation cheque for £1,000 to the Orangefield Flute Band after they won our green token giving vote. Stephanie says the band were "blown away" by the donation which they will use to buy new instruments.

Here's Katy and Jacqui, community champions at our Havant and Waterlooville stores, clearing rubbish which had washed up along the shoreline at Hayling Island. Jacqui said: "It was really sad how much we picked up – bottles, wrappers, cotton buds, balloons and plastic lids!"
