Being on anything with wheels here is… quite the experience! It’s all so incomprehensibly cheap though: 75p for a 20min taxi (in a hatchback that somehow has six people in it) 20p for a bus ticket *Working speedo and doors optional, apparently

Plenty of twists heading home… an unplanned stay in Gdańsk/London and being ‘un-exited’ from Schengen😅 Our first flight was delayed by: - A bird strike - Late cargo readjustment - Sudden assistance need - Someone tripping on the stairs That’s the bad luck used up for a while!

@ElderGrizzly @paul_winginit Booking.com has similar options but each element is a fairly expensive add-on (10-20%). The first one sounds quite interesting though, depending on how generous they are with their rebooking options!

Thanks to @AlastairDalton and @EdinReporter for raising one more the issue of simpler, cheaper pedestrian crossings. Zebras seem to be out of fashion - could they be used more instead of signalled crossings?

@AlastairDalton @SpokesLothian And they would be cheaper too. Long live the Zebra crossing. The one I remember is that the cost of the traffic lights planned for Dalmahoy has escalated almost fourfold since first talked about. And meantime collisions there have just added to the cost.
