.@TrainingPeaks Hi, I've tried to log onto my #TrainingPeaksCoach website on 2x different computers and got a blank screen on both. Anyone else experiencing this?

@_julietelliott I record each days ride separately. I think some with garmin etrex will leave it running for the trip or stitch together at the end
English

@CyclingLawLDN @georgebernhard @transconrace As many as you can carry. Melting is not normally a problem at this time of year
English

@georgebernhard @transconrace I can turn my tracker on for the ride if you like but I’m sure it’s open to anyone
English

@transconrace Is that aimed just at racers, or also at dotwatchers?

#TCRNo9 is here. transcontinental.cc/tcrno9-2023. Starting once again on Flandrien cobbles, this year’s route guides our intrepid, self-supported riders south and east; across Alpine passes, through sheer gorges and along ancient roads, finally coming to rest on the edge of Europe...

Hey, friends, we just gave our company to planet Earth. OK, it’s more nuanced than that, but we’re closed today to celebrate this new plan to save our one and only home. We’ll be back online tomorrow.

@mkpaa Yeah I honestly didn’t enjoy that 1,000km across France in 2019 😅
I like that it’s quite close, and something that won’t take up too much time but not really feeling the event just yet. Have some other options so we shall see
English

@B1RDMN It is something I like being part of. A shared experience. There are few literal highlights on the route. Especially as you've already done the most scenic to Brest. :)
English

Questions on #PBP. It’s not something that has appealed to me before, but some things may align to give me qualification, so I’m curious. What are the highlights of the route? Does everyone treat it as a race? What is your motivation for the event?
English

@firsthippy Yeah that’s likely not to fit through airport scanners so will need opening up. Where are you going?
English

@24HourMaths I did better than I thought! Had a fair bit of sendy fun on the downhill at least until those sandy gulleys. Felt really slow
English

@firsthippy @darrenfranks Oh no, not cherry! Had a bad experience biting into some Jaffa cakes on tcr no 5 expecting marmalade and finding cherry 😬
English

Day 4. You now bypass the drinks fridge and head directly for the healthcare aisle. The cashier asks, earnestly, if you’re OK as she scans Anusol, teething gel, sanitary pads and Jaffa cakes. “Yes”, you lie. #LEL2022 #truthsofultra

English

@firsthippy @darrenfranks I could give you a recipe for the ‘Jaffa cake pocket bake’ too but it sounds like it would be wasted on you

FIN
And, like that, #TCRNo8 has come to an end on the shores of the Black Sea in Bulgaria. Exactly 16 days after leaving the TCR's Belgian home. Our GC Lanterne Rouge group made it to Burgas just before the 22.00CEST cutoff. Meanwhile, just over 30 riders are still on the road...

English

Day 2. Sweat has pooled in your butt crack, evaporated and left enough salt to gently exfoliate your balloon know with every ripple in the tarmac. Now every fart, shart and bowel movement feels like birthing a Tabasco-dipped pineapple. #LEL2022 #truthsofultra
