2/ In another interesting case from @BCM_InternalMed , a patient with ESRD stopped being hypertensive and came off their meds. Turned out because of adrenal insufficiency.

Speaking about ejection fraction...
If you decide to tell a patient or her family that the EF is 25%, please explain to them that normal EF is ~50-70%, not 100%
I am not a big fan of discussing exact lab values with patients/families
