I think Don Kelly tipped his hand with the morning show about Konnor Griffin.
Kelly mentioned balancing development with limited minor league career, saying "finding the right time to make it happen."
"When that time comes, it's going to be fun."
I think Griffin begins in AAA.

I caught up with Paul Skenes afterward and asked about Pittsburghers pitching in tonight.

Urquidy was thought of to have the inside track for the #Pirates fifth starter spot, but it’s just been an inconsistent & quite frankly bad spring for the veteran righty.
Does Urquidy serve as a long man to start the year? Because he can’t be in the rotation.

The Pirates optioned IF Enmanuel Valdez to Triple-A Indianapolis and reassigned OF Dominic Fletcher to minor league camp. There are now 44 players in big league camp (43 active).
