100%. This is next level psychological warfare. They are bombarding the masses with so much hysteria - I genuinely feel bad for people caught up in it. Many ppl will never mentally recover from consuming political propaganda for years. Their critical thinking is being stripped away. Years ago I thought “In order to transition the world over to a new web, over a 15-20yr period. You’d need infinite Psyops and distractions.” But this has even exceeded what I was expecting. And it’s still early 😂

The amount of psyops and fearmongering in the past 10 days is staggering. Never seen anything like this, not even the pandemic was this bad.

🧵Who is going to tackle all the hardest/most contentious conversations about ICP once this mainstreams? - This is the Skynet mass control system - This is the elites new network so they know everything you’re doing - This is the beast system - Voting power is centralized with institutions - “They’ll” be able to shut you down and freeze your assets whenever they want - DIGITAL IDs ARE BAD - WEF IS EVIL (Insert any number of other hysterical talking points/criticisms) These attacks will be coming from every direction AS SOON as this mainstreams imo. And these issues will have to be addressed on a much bigger stage. I’m already prepared to knock all these issues out of the park. But tackling issues like this on a larger scale comes with risk. I hope Dfinity has a PR strategy prepared for this specifically. Bc this will happen all at once. Some people (a decent %) will label this as the beast system no matter what counter argument is presented. But a solid PR strategy to nullify these issues is worth considering (imo) It’ll be a great topic for rage baiting and engagement farming. And there’s never a shortage of internet grifters willing to spam the feed with rage bait trash. It’s already happening with digital IDs, CBDCs, AI, etc. The business of “selling fear” is thriving right now and that won’t change anytime soon. The attacks will come from numerous sources. Religious groups. Influencers. Crypto communities who made the wrong bet and are bitter about ICP becoming the big thing. etc etc Just floating this out there. Bc once the market rebounds. And more announcements start dropping. The attacks will inevitably start rolling in once people realize this is the Hub for Web3. Obviously this won’t stop the inevitable transition to new systems. But it can considerably muddy the waters and derail the public conversation for an extended period of time. $ICP $CLOUD ☁️♾️
