I can’t understand why lots of fans say Conor Benn is “useless” and he wouldn’t win a southern area title etc, yet they think this Regis Prograis fight is a walkover. I think it could end up being a tough nights work for Conor. Clearly Prograis has been pricked for a reason. But I’m telling you, Conor has massive pressure on him. The newly formed Eddie Hearn fan club are all baying for his blood. They want to see him knocked spark out. He’s coming down in weight, which can always impact you and he’s also got the lure of a massive world title fight after this. Ok, it ain’t exactly third world problems. But Conor is only human. On paper this is Conor’s toughest test by far. He’s fighting a former world champion, who will be full of energy and is a southpaw. If Conor’s is as bad as some claim, he will come unstuck, even at the higher weight. I believe Conor wins. But I don’t think Prograis is a complete knock over job.
