Everybody cites that livestock contributes to 14.5% greenhouse gases (i.e. FAO estimate). However, this is the GLOBAL livestock GHG number. In the US it is 3.8, in Paraguay 50, and in Ethiopia 90% that livestock contributes to respective country’s carbon footprints.
