I think there are a few holes in that theory. 1. It was used in a military operation during the Clone Wars ~20 years prior, so it may not have been common knowledge, except to Vader as obviously it happened to him as Anakin. 2. How did Leia know about hibernation sickness as a side effect of thawing out of carbonite if Han was the first human ever frozen? 3. George was loose with his own canon, so he probably just said “freeze them in carbonite” during episode planning because it would call back to the OT and would “look cool”. 4. It’s just filler text on an action figure card that was written by Hasbro, not necessarily the end all to be all explanation.

@pokemon_psts Zubat can’t even be shiny in RBY without glitches so he is useless to me. The actual rare Pokemon you only get 1 chance at are the legendary Pokemon. You do get 2 chances at Snorlax. Always save in front of them before battling. If you are lucky, you may even find a shiny.
