Great start to online learning at EHS today...but still a little sad that the momentum towards engaging in-person learning tasks we have been building needs to wait a few weeks.

@AMDM00yyz Our Parent Council is still patiently waiting on their first casino so this came out of other fundraising (mostly money earmarked for other off site trips that were cancelled in the spring). We went with two 10x15 ft tents from ABCcanopy (on Amazon) - school colours too!

@BenStrand10 Very technical question (asks treasurer of parent council) - did they use AGLC funds? Eligible as equipment? Any idea on cost? Councils should have $s - can’t think of a better time to spend.

We are very thankful for the Eric Harvie School Parent Council step up and purchasing two large pop up tents for our use in the fall...extend our use of the outdoors through a little more sun, rain, wind...and maybe even snow!

We had a great (hot!!) few days at Aisinai’pi with some great learning on physics of rock skipping, biology of birds of prey, history from the amazing Saa’kokoto...and how to sleep in a tent with a puppy!

We need to ensure we don’t lose the creativity, problem solving, etc of #STEM. How? Thinking about new organization of shared materials...like cardboard pile!
