Early prototype of a CFF scraping tool. Very primitive at current stage and obvious refinements are needed in terms of what it's pulling/how it classifies the info. Currently, every morning it runs an automated scan looking at two sources: Youtube and 247 Sports for objects to capture related to CFB news. For videos it transcribes to text and then pulls. It more or less does this correctly, but still captures some stuff from other sports. Refining it down further to not capture HS recruiting and NFL draft stuff within the CFB items pulled will be another challenge. Though, the NFL draft stuff is more so just a problem between Jan-Apr. Expanding the scope to other sources outside of 247/YT is my next item.
