Another thing is, some of those people are families of thousand year old dynasties that have expanded business out of obligation. Others are family members of crime bosses. You can’t really compare that to African Americans who endured slavery, Jim Crow, were not allowed to go to college, just started being allowed to have educations/have a job.

i love traveling because it puts things into perspective. a lot of people think they’ve really “made it” with six-figure or even seven-figure tech salaries - $300K, $500K, or even a million, but when you go to places like doha, singapore, or hong kong, you quickly realize the level of wealth in those parts of the world is on a completely different scale; limitless, generational. what some think is “top-notch” is just a drop in the bucket compared to how some people are really living.
