The Five-Second Epistemology: Post-Petrodollar Trade Order, mapped. Day 61 of the war. Day 1 of the Post-Petrodollar Order. The kitchen’s working map. Yesterday — Day 60, Day 0 — the American Soviet Union died. The Berlin Wall came down at 8:25 AM Eastern. The petrodollar wall fell with it. Today is Day 61 of the war and Day 1 of the Post-Petrodollar Order. Going forward, every piece carries both dates. The first counts how long the Strait has been closed. The second counts how long the new architecture has been the only architecture. This is the room the funeral happened in, mapped from the supply side. The seminary will spend the next decade writing the obituary in dollars. The kitchen is mapping what’s been built underneath. The shape is a figure-eight, not a chain. The petrodollar map was a wheel. Persian Gulf at the hub. Tankers radiating out through Hormuz to global buyers. Dollars radiating back in through SWIFT. One currency. One chokepoint. One underwriter — the US Navy. One clearinghouse. The wheel had a center and the center held everything. The corridor is a figure-eight. Two loops. They cross at Iran. Neither loop has a hub. Neither loop is denominated in one currency. Cut Iran out and the loops still function — origin-laundering at Sohar, Bandar Abbas, the EOPL anchorage off Malaysia, and now Galathea Bay means molecules don’t need a single host country. The loops are robust because they’re not radial. That is why the petrodollar is dead. The architecture that replaced it is shaped wrong for a hub-currency. Loop one is the land hourglass. Two bulbs. Narrow waist. The waist is Baluchistan — the Pakistan-Iran land border at Taftan/Mirjaveh, with the gauge change at Zahedan. The hourglass can be flipped. Containers go east. Refined product comes west. Iranian goods reach Pakistan and Afghanistan. The grains run whichever way the parties want them to run that week. Loop two is the water bypass. Around Hormuz entirely. Goreh–Jask pipeline outlet on the Gulf of Oman. Chabahar deep-water port on the Gulf of Oman, Indian-operated. Omani Sohar–Muscat–Duqm corridor — pipelines crossing the country from the inner Gulf side to the outer Gulf side. Kharg Island floating storage. Shadow fleet ship-to-ship transfers at the EOPL anchorage off Malaysia. And the new eastern anchor under construction: Galathea Bay on Great Nicobar Island, India’s ICTP, 80 nautical miles from Aceh, Indonesia, sitting astride the Strait of Malacca. The two loops touch at Iran and at Bandar Abbas. India holds both ends of the water loop — operating Chabahar at the western anchor, building Galathea Bay at the eastern anchor.
