He’s not as good a blocker as Reiman. But he’s a pretty good one, and was known for his blocking in college.

When I push for BPA, it means I want the team to take who their board’s BPA is. If a tackle isn’t viewed as the best option, don’t force it.

But a trade for the 12, 20 and a 2027 2nd is more likely.

The 12, 20 & 92 would be close…but a move up that high generally requires an overpay. Look at the HOU trade in 2023. We gave up the 3 & 104 and got an extra 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
We should at least get 12, 20 & a 2027 2nd.

They aren’t giving that up. Only way they move up is if we give them a discount since this draft isn’t on paper as great as others and many are saying isn’t even close to 2027 draft. I’d bet the most the give up is pick 20

@WBJMItch Eh. I'm open minded about it...I think Simpson fits Lafleur better than any QB in 2026 and most of those in 2027. I think he's more likely to be a star than Beck (though Beck has tremendous upside).
But we have other needs that I would be happy addressing instead.

Giants did it last year giving up only a late 3rd and a future 3rd.

Monti Ossenfort is 1/3 GMS in NFL history to finish with 15 or less wins in their first 3 years. The 2026 Cardinals are projected to win 4 games which would mean Monti joins Matt Millen (2001-2004) as the only other GM in NFL History with 20 or less wins in their first 4 seasons.

@iliketofootball You're certainly banking on projected growth, which is a risk. But his pressure rate and win rate on true pass rush snaps are elite. 23 pressures and 6.5 sacks as a part-time pass rusher is pretty impressive.

Travon Walker (9.5 sacks) is the closest thing I could find and he’s 6’5 275
