This man bought a lottery ticket on his way out of the grocery store, as he scratched it off he couldn’t believe his luck he just won $300. The ticket was a $30 ticket and he made all of his money back. He walked over to customer service who took the ticket and claimed he scanned it and put a post it on the ticket and put it in the drawer. He then tries to hand the man $5 as the prize and claims that’s what the ticket says he won. The man know you can’t win $5 on a $30 high prize ticket. He asks the man to scan it again and he refuses and claims $5 is what it shows. The man escalates it further and asks for a manager. The customer service rep finally scans it again and it showed $300 and the man finally gets his money he won. Do you really believe the ticket scanned as a $5 winner or was the customer service rep trying to finesse him out of his money?

NEW: 60-year-old cancer survivor is trying to become the oldest person to play college football. Tom Green, a 60-year-old freshman political science major at McDaniel College, has made the football roster. Green owns a wooden pallet company in Pennsylvania and never went to college. In 2015, he was diagnosed with Stage IV kidney cancer. He said he "was checking out in 2017," but ended up beating cancer. Green plays defensive line and made the DIII team as a walk-on. He is also a full-time student, as that is a requirement to play on the team. "I knew that the number was 61, that's the oldest player who ever played. I'm going to be 61 in June, so I'm [going to] be tying that record. But he [the record holder] just kicked extra points; he was a kicker," Green said to a local news outlet. Beast.

Tonight at 9:56 PM, my father went Home. In his final moments I read him testimony from his soldiers - words describing his heroism during December 2-4, 1968, the acts that earned him the Distinguished Service Cross with Valor. We had just discovered new testimony from the men who served beside him. As I read those words to him, he grew calm. And then he was gone. He left this world knowing he was a war hero. Knowing he was loved. Knowing Jesus was waiting. He was surrounded by his two dogs, his wife, and two of his daughters - Nancy and Mary. As he passed, his dog Sugar put her head in my lap. My dog Liberty put her paws on my knees. Even they knew it was time to say goodbye. On Friday I watched my father accept Christ as his Savior. Tonight I watched him go Home to meet Him. And tonight also happened to be one of his grandson’s birthdays. God doesn’t do coincidences. He chose this day on purpose. A life celebrated as another began. He fought the good fight. He finished the race. He kept the faith.2 Timothy 4:7 Rest now, Dad. Your work in this world is done. 🙏♥️

BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Former U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton: "It is shocking that Trump said no one informed him that Iran could close the Strait of Hormuz. I find it unbelievable that one of the fundamental pillars of geopolitical strategy in the Middle East was ignored. That was the first thing we assumed Iran would do. It is their main tool of global leverage. We are now seeing the consequences of a foreign policy driven by impulse rather than strategy.

@CollinRugg Parents literally handed their 18yo daughter to her 16yo stepbrother on a cruise ship cabin. Then act shocked when he kills and SA’s her? This wasn’t random. This was negligent parenting with a side of denial.

@CollinRugg For clarification: Putting brother and sister in the same room is fine. Putting step brother and step sister in the same room is not fine. Parents should have each roomed with their respective kid.

Sarina Butcher stepped into a war zone at 19 years old, carrying responsibility in a place where every road could turn into danger without warning. She served with the 700th Brigade Support Battalion, part of the Oklahoma Army National Guard, operating in Paktia Province, Afghanistan. Missions there were not predictable. Convoys moved through areas where threats were hidden and attacks came without notice. On November 1, 2011, her vehicle was hit by an IED. The explosion was immediate. No time to react. No chance to escape. She was klled in the line of duty alongside a fellow soldier. She was 19. Old enough to serve. Old enough to sacrifice. Too young to be gone. She became the youngest member of the Oklahoma National Guard to de in the war on terrorism and the first female from her state's Guard to be k*lled in combat. A title that carries weight no one should have to hold. The mission continued. The war continued. And most people will never know the young soldier who stepped forward at 19, wore the uniform with pride, and gave her life in a moment that changed everything. 🙏🇺🇸🙏

Francis S. Currey faced enemy tanks head-on in a single battle. He kept fighting. He kept going back. Most people never heard his name. He was 19. Currey was a young soldier in the U.S. Army during World War II. Sent to Europe. No fame. No guarantees. Just orders and survival. Then came Belgium, 1944. Enemy armor pushed forward. His unit was under attack. Tanks. Machine guns. Chaos. Currey didn't stay down. He moved through open ground under fire. He used anti-tank weapons to disable advancing armor. He ran back again and again, pulling wounded soldiers to safety. Not once. Multiple times. Each trip could have been the last. He kept going. His actions slowed the attack. Lives were saved because he refused to stop. For this, he received the Medal of Honor. The highest recognition for courage. But after the war, the spotlight faded. Currey returned home. Lived a quiet life. No constant attention. No widespread recognition. Just another veteran among millions. He lived until 2019. A man who faced tanks alone is a name most people never learned. One battle changed everything. History barely remembers it. 🙏🇺🇸🙏

Master Sgt. Gary Gordon and Sgt. 1st Class Randy Shughart were elite Delta Force snipers deployed during the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu, Somalia. When a Black Hawk helicopter (call sign Super Six Four) was shot down deep in hostile territory, the two men repeatedly requested permission to be inserted at the crash site to protect the downed crew. Command initially denied their request, knowing how dangerous the situation was-but Gordon and Shughart persisted, fully aware they would be vastly outnumbered and likely not survive. Their request was eventually granted. Once on the ground, Gordon and Shughart fought off waves of Somali militia fighters estimated to be between 200 to 300 strong. Armed only with their rifles and sidearms, they defended the injured pilot, Chief Warrant Officer Mike Durant, with fierce determination. After exhausting their ammunition, both men were KIA. Their heroism gave Durant a chance to survive and delayed the enemy long enough to alter the course of the battle. In recognition of their bravery and self-sacrifice, both men were posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor-the highest military decoration in the United States. Their actions remain a defining example of valor and loyalty in the face of overwhelming odds.
