U are going to the extreme, as if it was a hostile 3rd party. U r entitled to run ur HOA as much as anyone. U are not powerless.

It may seem like they do and incompetent ppl on HOA boards may act that way, but HOA can’t do anything not written in contract. Ppl on HOA don’t have “power.” They only have power to enforce.
