@chrisbizarre2 Woohoo £94 a week and you don't get that if you have savings. That doesn't cover a quarter of my rent. Where's your compassion? Personally I have 6 months savings but I'm lucky, I've been in my job for 10 years and had time to save. Many many many freelancers aren't so lucky.

Some welcome #COVID19 measures - VAT deferral & wages scheme will help employees & community venues. But #freelancers can't live on £95 p/w & without relief for them it's job half done. I know how anxious people are & will continue to press Govt to provide the support they need

@TracyBrabin @ayeshahazarika #freelancers generally earn more and choose their jobs. So when the goings good they get the benefit, but now it’s not you want to give them the benefits of not being freelance??
