I’m a little late posting this, but I won a grant from LWI, ALWD, and LexisNexis to work on a cool article I’ve been kicking around!










Lawyers: If you could give advice to a current law student about the practice of law -- some real advice about lawyering that they can actually use in their career, and that they probably don't yet know -- what would it be?



This semester (2L), I started using @toggltrack to track EVERYTHING I did for law school, whether that was class, reading, office hours, outlining, etc. Clinic was by far the most demanding, but I generally got through with about 40 hours of substantive "work" each week.



This thread contains some great advice for first-gen 1Ls. Here are a few other thoughts/pieces of unsolicited advice. 1/

Profs teaching w/Zoom this semester who also use PPTs: download the latest Zoom update. Then you can select "use slides as a virtual background" & it makes your video a part of your PPT (rather than having your students need to manage two separate windows + shrunken slides).
