@Magnum702 As two sets of fans, they have a lot of mutual respect. I’ve had some great experiences at Jingu where Carp fans have cheered for Swallows players, especially in retirement games.

@BritishCarpFan Went to a Swallows/Carp game a few weeks ago in Tokyo and first thing I noticed was how friendly and cool Carp fans were and then I was embraced by Swallows fans celebrating with them when they won in the 9th. Sports can bring us all together!

@shiawaseichi358 @BritishCarpFan I know that Tigers fans threw portable stereos from the TokyoDome's stands into the field in 1992, and I know that they threw Colonel Sanders into the Dotonbori River in 1985. And they were definitely Japanese.

@BritishCarpFan わざと物を壊す、暴行するという人以外は大丈夫です。元々日本は島国、外国人は日本の文化や礼儀は知らなくて当然と考え、許容していた。それを利用し凶悪犯罪を行う外国人が増えてしまった。そのことにどれだけ日本人が苦しんでいるかの証。 私は阪神ファン、一緒にセ・リーグを盛り上げて下さい⚾️

@eitoman1214331 Long story short.. My first baseball game was in Hiroshima and I fell in love with the Carp fans, especially the performance seat fans, so I pledged to become a Carp fan. Now I return every year, sit up with the Ouendan and cheer for Carp. I love cheering culture.

@BritishCarpFan Sam’s is fantastic. The bar is full of beer and baseball memorabilia. Sam is in his 80s he lived in the U.S. and he’s a great host. Bar is only open weekdays I think

@UniLionsTom1 @j_k26189 SGL is a cool spot. You really get to hear the game more than usual. A bit like visiting triple A games.

@j_k26189 Of course when I visited Koshien I ended up in the away section, 44 rows up sandwiched between large guys who were clearly Tigers fans and not Swallows fans.

Stadium mostly full. Capacity is 4400. Tigers first team at home down the road at Koshien. I highly recommend getting a game in here especially if you can't get a ticket for Koshien. Japanese baseball stadium 14.

@TheRealSoxChic I encourage you to learn his chant, from his club in Tokyo. Even though he’s now with the White Sox, all the Japanese fans will sing it when he plays for the national team. Carry a small umbrella for when he scores too. If he sees you with one, he’s gonna notice.

I learned Japanese phrases so I can encourage #MunetakaMurikami like I do English and Spanish speaking players. Take your time in Japanese is Yukkuri shite kudasai. Good Eye bcz he walks a lot, lbs is Yoi Me. And of course Fireworks is Hanabi! 🫶 #SoxChicExperience #SoxChic
