I just can’t say enough about how Tugler is finding himself at just the right moment. Playing without fouling and great footwork. And on the offensive end he’s drawing fouls, driving hard to the rim, and displaying some solid post moves.

Two ways you can look at this: 1) The Cougars truly haven’t play their best together in a complete game and are still 28-6 & No. 2 seed. Former University of Houston assistant turned Louisiana head coach Quannas White is coming to Oklahoma City to watch his mentor Kelvin Sampson's team (with many guys he coached) in the NCAA Tournament. A long roll call of Sampson's former Oklahoma players also will be in the Paycom Center stands, including Ebi Ere and Kevin Bookout. UH program icon Reggie Chaney's mother is going to be at the games, just like she was in Stillwater for the Cougars' win over Oklahoma State.

@painsworth512 I get it, if the ball was “in the cylinder” as called, and Arizona touched it first, the basket should be good on defensive basket interference, not offensive. Oh well, it wasn’t called that way so on we go.

It's the part that's the most baffling. Not only was the ball out, an arizona hand hits it first. Interference on Houston is the 1/3 options there that isn't right. UH is down 8, not 2, and it's halftime, not the end, but man... bad.

AJ took 10 free throws, Rob Wright took four, and I don't ever go there -- and again, Houston beat us. Stone cold. They won the game. AJ should have shot 20 free throws, minimum in that game. Rob Wright only shoots four free throws. Guy drives every time. And Sharp shoots 10 -- and I'm not saying the officials were, like, oh, we're going to give Houston calls and not BYU. I'm not suggesting that in any form or fashion. I thought they flat-out missed calls, bottom line. And that led to some turnovers, led to some frustration. And so that's disappointing. And, again, I think to your actual question of the turnovers, yeah, we just drove into a crowd too much.”
