Remember how last season went? Mets were the best team in baseball for the first month or so of the season. We know how it ended. The point I’m making is a bad start doesn’t mean the season is over. They can turn things around and it can be the complete opposite of last year.

@Mets2026 You were referencing originally where the two teams currently stand. The point is, given the Mets gross failures in recent years comparatively speaking to the Phillies, there’s far greater trust in the Phillies team to get to the finish line for a chance to compete for title.

@JohnMurachanian EVERY Knicks team has a postseason loss like last night’s in them. Even the much lauded ‘90s group. More times than not, they overcame it. This one will too. But it this just makes the Celtics more ready and rested for round 2
