One of the most painstaking yet rewarding things about our game is our special box art. We had to trace models by hand using screenshot references. I recently made a little program that makes it 100x easier, and now I can import, capture, and export as an svg!! so happy.

Heading to the hospital early tomorrow morning for my 3rd cancer-related surgery. Surgery is at 6:30 AM, and while my surgeon has explained the risks, there are always potential complications afterward. The audacity of some of the Johnson County Public Schools to cry about not having enough money to enforce the new BIPARTISAN cell phone ban in Kansas schools, which is being overwhelming celebrated, is beyond offensive and absurd. "This unfunded mandate will cost somewhere, really rough estimate that we've been able to calculate, somewhere between three and a half and $4 million at least," Blue Valley Superintendent Gillian Chapman told KSHB. “To put something in place that we do not need.” STOP! Look at the top earners in the Blue Valley School District from KansasOpenGov.org below -- you really think parents, footing a massive and growing property tax bill, want to hear you cry poor over having to enforce a cell phone ban that is widely applauded? As for already having one in place, fine, then you should have an idea of how to simply make this enforceable and compliant with state law. Despite all the complaining, they have been unable to simply explain WHY this is going to cost them millions. They're just saying it. And a willing Kansas City media has just reported it as fact, instead of asking obvious questions. I got worked up over this today. @ddofinternet This train runs at ~215 MPH. The fastest train in the US recently began service in 2025 along a 40 mi stretch and peaks at only 160 MPH, but still qualifies as high-speed rail. Brightline in Florida peaks at 125 MPH but is impressive compared to what is going on in CA...

@AT7987575983718 @Real_Ames Wat. The artists literally encourage them to. If they don't the artist uses a shovel to destroy it as seen in their videos. Either way, it is destroyed and subsequently replaced the next day.

@BunnyFilms1 @Real_Ames They “allow” it because they can’t legally tell people not to. But it’s a test of goodwill and being a human being. Not an animal. If someone told me I was allowed to destroy it, I wouldn’t touch it, because I have basic respect for works of art that others worked hard on.

@TreySetzer @Real_Ames I dug deeper for additional context and found out that the people that build these sand castles allow people to destroy them at night. They rebuild them daily on the same beach, and have uploaded many videos of people being given permission to destroy them.

The Mr Beast era is over. Over-edited, heavily produced, AI content flooded YouTube. The platform is now pushing authentic creators who talk to a camera and don't edit out every mistake. This has happened before. YouTube moves in cycles. We're in the authenticity cycle now.

@robertoblake It is so interesting to see how my audience viewing from TVs has grown! Only now am I beginning to emphasize longer videos. 2020: 10.2% 2022: 13.8% 2024: 15.4% 2026: 21.1%

Long form YouTube isn’t dead. It’s moved from phones to TV. And a lot of Creators can’t handle that this is where they are losing to Short Form. They are still operating under the idea of making quirky 3-5 minute high effort videos is 20-100 hours of editing behind them… They are making content for a version of the YouTube community that is no longer the majority… People watch long form on the largest screen possible. Not the screen closest to them. They will watch/listen to a podcast or information video live stream on their phone. But if you want them to watch long form entertainment, you need to be making it for TV…
