@PlankGOAT I mean yes, there is indeed a possibility it could be map-specific but it doesn't seem so. Also, SAS are the only faction in the campaign and Spetsnaz aren't even involved with any the levels from what we know so far. It is SAS vs Las Almas Cartel basically.

Its great that you're doing comms, but you really should assign operators to SAS & Spetsnaz separately. Nobody asked for Factions to be removed & we were annoyed at Vanguard for removing that critical part of the game. It makes no sense as to why Ghost would fight for Spetsnaz.

I am not sure forcing Bethesda to release a new game more than once a decade is some kind of huge ask

The point system is still better than what CW introduced, the spawning is even worse now, and no factions was sad

treyarch games have a different level of longevity in the call of duty franchise people don’t remember how long black ops 2 lasted. it was populated for years after release and on xbox rejuvenated with back compat in april 2017 black ops 3 the same. 2 years of support for both multiplayer and zombies, the game ended with an astounding amount of content. still visually holds up today

@Creetosis22 I would say the game is probably half way finished. We're at least 2 years away from release, and that's being generous.

I see a lot of people celebrating this because "omg finally, we can get new Fallout and Elder Scrolls games sooner!" Guys, this is a Monkey's Paw. Bethesda, without tight deadlines or being rushed from higher ups before gave us Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Starfield. Three abysmally dogshit games, each worse than the last. While it is true that working within limitations can absolutely push innovation and creativity, I seriously doubt we'll get that from Bethesda. Emil's writing is shit with all the time in the world to do it, who honestly thinks that being pushed to make games faster will improve his writing? Does anyone think we'll get better RPG mechanics? Better world building? Better quests? All this will do is get us an even worse game faster. The problem is Bethesda, their leadership and company culture. Until that is fixed, of which there appears to be no sign of (has anyone seen how fucking lazy Terran Armada is?) then we won't be getting good games from them again. Unless you mindlessly consume slop, getting excited over this is only setting yourself up for disappointment.
