@GenePark i’ve got way too many hours on this game but i’ve somehow never “completed” it either. it’s just so long i always fall out of it

ok i started my new run of ac odyssey as you see below and then i got reminded how grindy and big the game is. then i realized i never actually "completed" the game so i'm just booting up my 2019 save. back to kassandra it is. i actually prefer how valhalla did their 2 gender choice, the fact that you can switch out being a boy or girl, and the SUPER cool fact that they wrote an excellent lore justification for the mechanic

@JezCorden @Toadsanime I don't buy into that. The problem I see is value at launch. Barrier to entry for AAA games going into game pass is super low compared to a game releasing just on Steam. If a publisher chooses, they can just not put their game on a Steam sale too.

I'll be honest, most industry people think this. Publishers have been quietly saying this to each other for years. I've always been critical of Game Pass and its long-term damage - great deal for consumers, and buy-out deals have been too juicy to ignore, but overall damaging.
