@TexasSmokeChef A bath with Dawn Dish soap will kill the fleas but is very safe for kittens. many cat rescue groups use this as it is less toxic than flea meds or flea shampoo. Enjoy that kitty. The kitten who chose me was with me for 17 yrs!

I'm not a cat person. I now have a cat. It's tiny. It was abandoned. It's skin and bones and is a flea buffet. It's been fed through an eyedropper and given a padded box to sleep in. This is an unexpected turn in my life.

Did 3 hours of weeding/cleaning out my sister’s garden today. Another super hot and humid day. This is just half of it and so much more to do. Fruit trees with Comfrey growing around them (she uses Comfrey as a natural fertilizer), tomato plants and raised beds with everything you can think of has been planted. Back at it tomorrow!

Someone called me a Sour Patch Kid yesterday. I think they nailed it… first I’m sour, then I’m sweet… then if you’re annoying, we’re right back to sour. I mean, do you think I’m a sour patch kid? I didn’t even know what they were since they came out when I was all grown up. Lol
