Kevin Durant is second in the entire NBA in scoring. That stat alone is why the Rockets made the trade. Houston has had a number of issues this season, but KD is very far down on that list. Insane that he’s doing this at age 37.

Luka Doncic (1,284 points) is the only player in the NBA with more points than Kevin Durant (1,123) in 2026. Durant also has the 4th best DFG% this season (42.1%) behind only Wemby, Chet, and IHart… All while averaging 26/5/5/1/1 on 52/41/88 splits. All NBA lock.

If there's any real smoke of ARI liking Ty Simpson similar to NYG & Dart, there's a viable path for #Texans to move from 28 to 34 and get some extra draft capital.
Have to see who's on the board close to the #Texans range but odds are high they move up or down from 28.
