@PaulCalandra you have not spoken to us. Why? We at CPIC have not heard from you when we have requested to speak with you. We are the voice of #parents at the TCDSB. We know #Education. We know what OUR #children need. We know you have a mandate that does not serve #students.

@fordnation so you are spending more tax payers money on what? Just increase the schools block budgets so they are adequately funded to buy and maintain supplies for the schools. This makes zero fiscally responsible sense. #Education #Ontario

@TinaYazdani Parent Councils are now and have been for years filling the gaps with fundraising because the @fordnation government #underfunding leaves our schools with inadequate budgets. Yet @PaulCalandra wants to pay supervisors who know nothing about #education $350k a year.

NEW: the Ford government’s appointed school supervisors can spend up to $350,000/year, according to the education minister. That money will come from school board budgets, not the ministry of education. To compare: the TDSB’s 22 trustees made just over $550,000 last year.

Children with special needs are being denied services in #OntEd because Doug Ford has cut education funing and refuses to update the aprcial education funding model to reflect current needs. Kids are suffering.
