I watched this debate and Erskine-Smith's ability to crystallize policy arguments in the context of specific values - without notes, while Bonnie Crombie consulted notes all night - was striking. He's the kind of politician we tell ourselves we want in government, I think

Some truly awful and sad news: Ontario’s former lieutenant governor @HonDavidOnley has died at age 72. He was a great champion for the disabled community and despite (or maybe because of) his physical challenges was an inspiration to millions. RIP Your Honour. #onpoli #obit
