I just realised I never posted the paper I co-authored on here!! This was initially my 3rd year research project during university and transitioned into a project in my own time. First author was a PhD student looking to get more writing experience. doi.org/10.1071/RJ25008

@rileycs_ From what ive been reading, the early low dose allows the supplement to take over and shift ur sleep phase earlier without disrupting the natural production, and if u do it consistently for 1-2 months it can bring ur sleep schedule forward and help reset ur circadian rhythm

@rileycs_ if ur adhd I would recommend trying to take 1mg melatonin 3-5hrs before when u want to start sleeping and try taking it at the same time every day. Then like try get off devices for an hour before planned bed time, read or something. Im trying atm and getting good results :)

linking to files in OneDrive sucks so much compared to attaching them. We don't all need to work in the same file. I hate Microsoft so much.

@SoftVictorian7 Last month I was in Melbourne and I overheard this man, probably about 50-60, telling his wife that he just asked chat gpt if the next train went to the city. 1. there was a sign over his head that said all stops for the next train 2. all trains in that direction go to the city

@leveragedlester for those wondering, the paper mentioned was done on 3 people and theyre still looking for someone to do a more substantial study on it from what I could see. Still, accessible and worth a try but I wouldnt expect miracles just yet :)

Agmatine sulfate ELIMINATED depression in 3 patients within hours. Same pathway as ketamine. No prescription. No clinic. $30. You think your stack works. You’re wrong. It’s running at half capacity. Every compound you take is undertuned without it. Every day it’s already: → Building tolerance to your nootropics → Wasting 50% of your caffeine response → Capping your antidepressant at 10% strength You don’t need more compounds. You need the multiplier. Researchers found agmatine made bupropion 10x stronger. Imipramine 10x. The NMDA antagonist MK-801 a hundred times more potent. Same molecule. Different stacks. Every other operator? Multiplying. It hits NMDA, AMPA, and mTOR — the exact triple-pathway behind $800 ketamine infusions. No dissociation. No IV. No clinic. 500mg. Empty stomach. Don’t take with protein. Your body makes it. Your microbiome produces it. Top operators just take more than biology rations. This isn’t a willpower problem. It’s a potentiation problem nobody told you about. Stop loading more. Multiply what you have.

Has anyone on here read Kierkegaard's "Either/Or", should I read "Faust" and watch a recording of Mozarts "Don Giovanni" beforehand, or can I just kinda understand the key ideas from those works and still understand what the aesthetes suggesting when discussing those works?

The number of adults being diagnosed with ADHD has risen six-fold since 2017, and it has increased by almost a third in the last year alone. This is largely because of the rise of ADHD-specific telehealth clinics providing quick diagnoses, sometimes based on online questionnaires alone. Where those clinics are also dispensing medication, there are obvious concerns regarding clinical decision-making and commercial incentives. We need better regulation of telehealth services—it's an under-regulated part of our health system. Image: @abcnews

@sarah_frags I've noticed a massive mental shift from denial to support of the warmer climate, masses of people saying that CO2 is good as earth was very productive when it was last high without acknowledging that we were not around then + our whole landscape and food sources will change

@sarah_frags Its such a scary concept that in many western countries, the active fighting of climate change has become a political taboo, its abscence as a major point of discussion in the last US election spoke volumes. Its just too scary and as a result theres a nice foothold for conspiracy

the level of mental gymnastics we are all engaged in right now, including myself, in order to lead a life of complete delusion is so fucking horrifying man. where do u even go from here, save incredibly extreme measures? although i can see the argument for climate justifying said measures, whatever they may be, is there even any chance we manage to do enough before its too late? i dont think waiting for >the market to magically save us from some of the most horrifying decades our species is bound to experience is really working out here guys and those decades are legitimately soon to be upon us Hahahahahaha :)
