@AndrewD82566840 @Sikervic @leroyb756 @ReasonGlobie @JesusSaaaves @NoDyeSaiyanHair Definition and observed example of Macroevolution

English

@Sikervic @leroyb756 @ReasonGlobie @JesusSaaaves @NoDyeSaiyanHair Evolution on a macro scale has not occurred. It is unbelievable to me that people believe this. Darwin would have laughed at his theory if he had today's knowledge
English

Exactly
Disproven claims. Zero proof.

Maximum atheist@Maximumatheist
That book was written by humans. Lots of claims, zero proof.
English

@PeshatDuel @AiG Very rapid evolution indeed. What Creationists accept as Variation is no different from Macroevolution.

English

@AiG Even speciation (adaptation & change within a kind)? Do you not make a distinction between micro & macro-evolution?
English

@Rainmaker1973 Macro evolution has a lot of problems. The biggest being, that it does NOT follow the scientific method.
Macro evolution can't be observed, can't experiment on it, can't duplicate it...
Almost all genetic mutations are negative.

@GIFATJO23 @BumpyAstronaut @joelithic @Dexerto We sure can. Here's the definition and an observed example of Macroevolution.

English

@BumpyAstronaut @joelithic @Dexerto To prove something means to show there cannot be another way. I cannot show you that. But now you need to have the intellectual honesty to also admit that you yourself ca not objectively prove that macro evolution is real as the evidence only takes you so far, just like with God-
English

@MindVsMyth Macro evolution is the idea that mutations which are usually lethal and catastrophic can somehow create new traits that will lead to the creation of a new distinct organism. We have not observed that.
English

The story of Genesis and the theory of evolution can’t both be literally true. Genesis describes the universe, Earth, and all life as being created in six days, with humans formed fully and separately from the dust, just a few thousand years ago. It presents a static, top-down process where species appear by divine command, each “after its kind,” with no transformation or shared ancestry. Evolution, on the other hand, shows life emerging slowly over billions of years through natural processes—mutation, selection, genetic drift—and all living beings, including humans, sharing common ancestors.
English

@Rashiq_Shahzad @MacklemoreZabe @Key4SkeletonA Not really necessarily..... some Macroevolutionary events can and do happen in very few, or in single generations.

English

@Rashiq_Shahzad @MacklemoreZabe @Key4SkeletonA So at what point does Microevolution become Macroevolution?
Meaning what would the generation that marks the dawn of a Macroevolutionary event look like when compared to the generation that immediately preceded it??

English

@Rashiq_Shahzad @MacklemoreZabe @Key4SkeletonA There's no real distinction between Micro and Macro evolution.
Because at what point does Microevolution becomes Macroevolution?

English

@Rashiq_Shahzad @MacklemoreZabe @Key4SkeletonA I literally just showed what different Families can look like. So its pretty clear that "entirely new bodyplans" (whatever that means), and entirely new functions and major structural innovations is NOT a requirement to produce New/Different Families.

English

@Rashiq_Shahzad @MacklemoreZabe @Key4SkeletonA What do you mean by "Higher level" transitions? How different organisms must become to be considered different Families?

English

@Rashiq_Shahzad @MacklemoreZabe @Key4SkeletonA That's fine. However, the phenomenon of Macroevolution has already been observed. No need to observe every instance of a phenomenon to acknowledge that the phenomenon occurs

English

@kenlovesuuu @ScienceQriosity @TPhillykeys @AskPerplexity @ToastyVegemite @pat7teen @conquistadorof1 @MattWalshBlog So no actual argument. Cool.
English

@AskPerplexity @kenlovesuuu @ScienceQriosity @TPhillykeys @ToastyVegemite @pat7teen @conquistadorof1 @MattWalshBlog Oh I know. That's a common Creationist tactic to appeal to ridicule instead of providing cogent rebuttals.
English

It looks like there isn't really a "joke" here in the traditional sense.
They seem to be using the laughing emojis and the GIF to dismiss your point as ridiculous instead of offering a counter-argument. The head-patting GIF is generally used to be patronizing, which tracks with them calling you "lil guy."
English

@ByJimbob @Norse_Chieftain @AgainstAtheismX Evolution is a readily observed and observable phenomenon.
English

@Norse_Chieftain @AgainstAtheismX Now what?
Evolution fails to go through the scientific method.
Therefore, it’s not a valid scientific theory.
English

@dennisdjackson @ScienceQriosity @wendelltalks Definition and observed example of Macroevolution.
And why can't the woodpecker evolve?

English

@ScienceQriosity @wendelltalks Macroevolution has never been observed and cannot be reproduced. Further, it fails at logic. The evolution necessary to produce a woodpecker would never result in a living creature.

English

Case And point... There's always something we're missing or don't understand as if we all didn't grow up taking the same high school biology classes. 🤦🏼♂️
Macroevolution is impossible since no new information can ever be added during mutation, ergo nothing ever grows more complex while microevolution is just a fancy way to say variation.
Evolution doesn't have a vestigial leg to stand on and is pure fantasy. You're conflating law with theory and putting it all under the same heading. Meanwhile, the Bible actually proves itself historically, prophetically and archaeologically. Seek Jesus friend. We're entering the last days spoken of.
